Jane Whyte

Born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Jane moved to Kitchener, Ontario as child. As a teen, she joined 2873 KW Cops Cadet Corps in Kitchener, Ontario shortly after females were first allowed to join in 1975. Jane also worked for Kitchener Minor Hockey for 5 years as teen. In 1989 she was accepted to Canadian Armed Forces spending 7 months as an Ordinary Seaman at Canadian Forces Recruit School Cornwallis, until knee injury ended her career.  Jane also worked in food industry for many years.

Jane is the mother of two teenagers. In 2012  joined the  Parent Support Committee for 21 Royal Highland Fusiliers of Canada Army Cadet Corps. Eventually becoming the Vice President of Executive Committee, Jane "changed sides" to be a Civilian Volunteer and finally a Civilian Instructor with the Corps.

Jane's interests include vegetable gardening, prepping, working with children and teens and having great adventures.
