Lieutenant Mike McConkey

Lt. McConkey was born 30 Aug 1982 in Newmarket, Ontario. Lt. McConkey started his cadet career with 2799 Queen’s York Rangers Cadet Corps in Aurora, Ontario in1995 where he progressed through the ranks until he aged out as a Cadet Warrant Officer in June 2001.

Signing on with 329 Tottenham Army Medical Cadet Corps as a Civilian Instructor in Sept 2001, Lt. McConkey was sworn in to the Canadian Forces as an Officer Cadet on April 15 2002 and has progressed through the ranks up to Lieutenant. Lt McConkey transferred from the 329 to 676 Lorne Scots ACC in Georgetown, Ontario in Jan 2009 where he remained until June 2014. In Sept 2014 Lt McConkey transferred to the 21 RHFC ACC were he is currently staffed.

Lt McConkey resides in Kitchener, ON with his wife Anita and his three boys Nikolas 7, Alexander 4, and Jackson 3 months. Lt McConkey is a Parts Technician with Trailer Wizards in Mississauga.
